Wounded Veterans Polo Benefit 2015

Posted on 14-03-2017

Organized by the Commandery of St. Francis and hosted by the Wine Country Polo Club at Oakmont, California, the Wounded Veterans Polo Benefit now in its 6th year aims to raise funds for programs supporting injured veterans in the San Francisco Bay Area. Our all volunteer organization ensures that event costs are minimized and net proceeds are fully allocated to this cause.
Last year this event raised over $50,000 for these three beneficiaries:
The Pathway Home in Yountville, providing residential treatment for veterans suffering from PTSD.
Community Action North Bay, providing housing and life assistance to veterans in need in Solano County.
The veterans program at the Bay Area Association of Disabled Sailors, providing sail training and therapy on sailing dinghies in the San Francisco Bay.
The Commandery of St. Francis is a non-profit, funded entirely by members' subscriptions, and is part of the Priory of the Pacific OSJ, a registered 501(c)(3) corporation (# 26-2543649). Donations from fund-raising are passed entirely to the supported programs.
