Hotel Spotlight: MGM Grand National Harbor Resort & Casino
The Nation’s Capitol got a little more “Vegas” as MGM National Harbor Resort and Casino opened its doors in Maryland. It’s the sixth Casino to open in the region and the views of the Potomac from inside remind you that you are steps, or shall I say strokes, away from the nation’s capital.
The new resort is where the Potomac greets Maryland, D.C. and, Virginia and the architecture embraces that with huge views of the scenery just outside the resorts windows. This boutique Vegas style resort is home to world class dining, luxury accommodations and a 125,000 square foot casino. If you see some resemblance to the resorts of Las Vegas that is probably no surprise as MGM Resorts International knows a thing or two about the gamin and resort industry.
